Behavioral Health Services
Pine Grove Behavioral Health and Addiction Services, a division of Forrest General Hospital, provides a comprehensive range of behavioral health services including pain management and individual and group counseling. For more information, click here.
Forrest General has several clinical pharmacists on staff whose primary focus is to promote the safe and appropriate use of medicinal products and devices. These pharmacists provide consultation and education to physicians, hospital staff, and patients, family and significant others.

Forrest General Hospital staff includes a mental health clinical nurse specialist. The mental health clinical nurse specialist is a nurse who is specially-trained to provide mental and emotional support to patients and families.

Medical Social Workers
Medical Social Services is an important link between patient, family, medical team, and the community. Social workers are available to help with discharge planning, patient and family counseling, and serve as a liaison to community services.

Dietitians are available to assist the medical team in the assessment of the patient's nutritional status and the need for alternate or supplemental feeding methods. Outpatient Rehabilitation Services
Outpatient Rehab Services are located inside the LiveWell Center at 5909 U.S. Highway 49, less than a mile south of the main hospital building across from Wal-Mart. Physical, occupational and speech therapy services are offered from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Forrest General's Pastoral Services provides pastoral visitation and counseling for all patients requesting its services. Hospitalization provides time for reflection, which often brings forth hopes and fears. This reflection is normal and can be a time for spiritual growth. The Chaplain and other Pastoral Services staff are dedicated to helping patients and their families toward the fullest possible recovery. Spiritual resources, including Forrest General's devotional opportunities, can be an effective aid during a patient's healing process.
