This unit provides continuous monitoring of heart patients around the clock. Each patient room is equipped with special electrocardiogram equipment which allows the patient's heart rhythm to be monitored by technicians at the nursing work station. This allows medical personnel to respond immediately to any changes in the patient's condition.
