Mothers recovering from an exhaustive labor or surgical delivery can rest in their hospital suite while their newborn is cared for by a specially-trained nurse in the Respite Nursery. Parents may also choose for their infant to stay in the suite with them. This "rooming in" concept allows unlimited time for parents to bond with their new infant. We understand that different hours of the stay will dictate different desires, so parents have the freedom to choose between both respite and/or rooming in throughout the entire stay.
