What is the Forrest General Healthcare Foundation?
The Forrest General Healthcare Foundation exists to support the mission of Forrest General Hospital, which is to provide high quality healthcare services accessible and available to the residents of south Mississippi. The Foundation assists with this goal by enhancing the health and wellness of Forrest General's service area through accepting donations and seeking out additional funding sources and grants. This organization exists to help ensure that future generations are able to count on Forrest General for their family's health, just as Pine Belt residents have done for more than 50 years.

Currently, the Forrest General Healthcare Foundation is raising funds to support three main projects:
- Enhancement of Forrest General's new, technologically-advanced, family-centered Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)
- The building of a new Forrest General Inpatient Hospice Home, the second of its kind in the state
- Continuation of Pine Grove Behavioral Health's Spiritual Grounds project, a place where art and nature converge to facilitate the healing process for patients and community members alike

The Forrest General Healthcare Foundation is a 501(c)3 designated foundation, meaning that all donations are considered tax-deductible to the fullest extent of the law. Donations may be designated by donors for a specific project or purpose, or may be given toward the general achievement of the Foundation's goals.
