Miss Hospitality contestants bring smiles to Forrest General patients
Twenty nine young women competing in the Miss Hospitality pageant visited Forrest General on Tuesday, bringing joy and smiles to patients in various areas of the hospital. The young women handed out colorful balloons as they visited patients in the Rehabilitation and Pediatrics units.
“It is always a pleasure to have the Miss Hospitality contestants visit Forrest General,” said Millie Swan, Forrest General Chief Marketing and Medical Staff Services Officer. “The time they spend visiting different areas of our hospital spreads cheer to patients and staff while giving these outstanding young women an opportunity to learn more about Forrest General and how we care for our community. Inspiring women to take action for their health is the central goal of our Spirit of Women program, and we enjoy the opportunity to talk to these young women about the importance of making healthy choices beginning at a young age. We wish each of the contestants the best of luck, and hope they enjoy their time in Hattiesburg.”
