Clergy Hospital Visits

Patients who wish to be visited by clergy can request that their name be added to the hospital's Visiting Clergy List. Clergy members from the hospital's service area are welcome to view Forrest General's Visiting Clergy List until 10 p.m. each day. Otherwise, local clergy may visit patients that they are aware of by name during regular visiting hours by checking with the information hostess located in the main lobby or the Park Avenue lobby which is inside the first floor parking garage entrance.

Monthly Clergy Prayer Breakfasts

Forrest General's Pastoral Services hosts a monthly clergy prayer breakfast at the hospital on the third Thursday of each month from 7:45 until 8:45 a.m. (excluding November and December) in the Elm Room adjacent to Forrester's Food Court.

Clergy may purchase breakfast from Forrester's Food Court, and at the conclusion of each meeting, attendees will form small groups for prayer. The hospital's Pastoral Services staff hopes that these groups will help the chaplains better assist area clergy in meeting the spiritual needs of congregations and the community.
