The Life's Little Miracles program, created by the Forrest General Healthcare Foundation, offers parents, grandparents, friends and other family members the opportunity to honor a special baby while benefitting future generations of Forrest General babies. The mural, painted by local artist Kym Garraway, features day and night nature scenes with animals, plants, insects and celestial objects that are available for purchase, customized with a baby's name and date of birth. All proceeds from the mural benefit the renovation and future of Forrest General's Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). For more information on how you can honor a special baby, please click here for a brochure with complete details, or call the Forrest General Healthcare Foundation at 601-288-4396.
A former NICU patient and his family stop by the mural to see his name painted on a fox.
