Position Summary - A cardiology or emergency nurse clinician responsible for coordination of the development of and implementation of a regional system for treating ST-elevation myocardial infarction patients in collaboration with a medical director from FGH and a core statewide STEMI system organization. This position will require a dynamic person with excellent interpersonal communication, organizational and public speaking skills who is passionate about improving STEMI care in Forrest General Hospital's referral area and throughout the state. The successful candidate will have an opportunity to have a significant impact on cardiovascular care delivery in the state of Mississippi. The following is a summary of the major job processes of this job. Other duties may be performed both major and minor which are not mentioned below. Specific duties may change from time to time: Maintain in-depth knowledge of AHA/ACC STEMI Guidelines. Identify hospitals and EMS agencies within the assigned region that send STEMI patients to Forrest General
Hospital. Approach EMS agencies, transfer hospitals and other Primary PCI Hospitals in the state to improve STEMI care. Conduct a survey to characterize the state of STEMI care at each referral facility and hospital in our regional area. Help in similar survey as part of Forrest General Hospital's participation in statewide system. Be instrumental in the development of a plan to include: Systematic changes likely to improve the rate and speed of reperfusion. Education and supporting materials regarding AMI care. Position Summary - Care Manager plans, coordinates, develops, evaluates, and monitors the care of assigned group of patients to achieve quality cost effective patient outcomes. Works collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to identify services required to meet the patient/family needs through out the continuum of care, while ensuring that appropriate resources are implemented in a timely manner. Performs reviews concurrently on assigned patients relative to the prospective payment system for Medicare, Medicaid, private payors, and other hospital utilization management applications. Reviews scheduled outpatient surgeries for compliance with the APC "Inpatient Only" listing. Serves as the initial contact healthcare providers have with the process of DRG assignment. Functions as the central liaison between the Medicare PRO, review agencies, Business Services, Patient Accounts, and other healthcare professionals affected by concurrent review, DRG assignment, and the certification process, and discharge planning. Is involved in utilization review activities as defined by the Performance Improvement Plan and participates on various committees/ task forces. The Director of PG Women's Center will be responsible for therapy program development, coordinating quality patient care services, implementation of programming, and follow-up. The Director of PG Women's Center assists and coordinates communication among patients and their referents. The Director is responsible for continued referral development, promoting growth, excellence in clinical knowledge and customer service, and achieving positive financial results. The Director of PG Women's Center ensures quality patient care by developing and implementing appropriate policies and procedures, hiring and maintaining qualified staff, and ensuring a quality patient experience. The Director is responsible for adhering to budgetary guidelines and staffing productivities. The Director of PG Women's Center demonstrates promotion and adherence to the organization's established Compliance Program and Standard of Conduct, and accreditation standards.
QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum of Master's degree in the mental health field with appropriate licensure; at least 5 years of experience in chemical dependency, eating disorders or other addiction treatment and a minimum of 3 years in progressive management experience. Must have a high energy level and be capable of handling high pressure situations. Must have ability to perform repetitive tasks, cooperate with others and demonstrate leadership and initiative. Must be responsive to and responsible for management of assigned staff. Must be responsive to patient needs and demonstrate initiative towards completion of treatment goals. Must demonstrate abilities as a team-player. Licensure as required by
educational specialty. Certified Eating Disorder therapist.

Provides Supervision to clinical therapists, counselors, and counselor associates. Works closely with therapy manager and assumes leadership of therapy services when manager is not present. Position Summary - The Patient Account Service Representative occupies and manages the front desk. This includes, but is not limited to, politely and efficiently greeting patients and visitors, taking phone messages,

This individual is responsible for taking all referral calls concerning prospective patients, verifying/pre-certifying insurance benefits and making financial arrangements with patients or guarantors before admission.

Position Summary - The RN performs under the direct supervision of the Patient Care Coordinator and is delegated an assignment by the coordinator to achieve quality patient care. The RN Staff Nurse shall implement the nursing process in an organized, systematic manner to include assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation in collaboration with the Patient Care Coordinator as evidenced by documentation in Patient Care Record, direct observation by Nurse Manager and patient evaluations of care. The RN is responsible to the Patient Care Coordinator for patient care and ultimately accountable to the Nurse Manager.
QUALIFICATIONS - Graduate of a recognized RN program. Must have successfully completed at least 825 clinical practice hours for B.S. program and at least 750 clinical practice hours for A.D. program. These hours are exclusive of laboratory hours. One year medical/surgical nursing care preferred, but not required. Positions Summary - Under supervision prepares food using standardized recipes and production guides. Assures timeliness and quality of assigned menu items. Provides preparation, service, and clean up for catered functions. Provide on-the-job training for new employees.
