• Nuclear Medicine Department granted a three year term of accreditation in Nuclear Cardiology by the Intersocietal Commission for the Accreditation of Nuclear Medicine Laboratories (ICANL).
• Forrest General's Rehabilitation unit ranked in the top 3 percent in the nation for Inpatient Rehabilitation Facilities by Uniform Data Systems for Medical Rehabilitation(UDSMR) in 2011.

• Public Safety Department achieves CALEA Accreditation. Department demonstrates compliance with the Mississippi State Standards and The Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies (CALEA) Standards, resulting in accreditation as a Law Enforcement Agency, conferring all rights and responsibilities associated with that designation.

• Neurosurgery Unit sets standard for patient satisfaction nationwide (Press Ganey) Neurosurgery Unit scores, based on the quarterly Press Ganey report from April - June 2010, ranked among the highest in the country. This unit has set the bar five times since the July - September 2008 quarterly report. Their scores reflect the highest mean scores obtained nationwide for any hospitals of Forrest General's size, making the hospital's unit one of the top scoring units in the country when it comes to satisfaction reported by patients receiving care in that area.
