Pediatric Physical Therapist-

The Physical Therapist is responsible for the implementation of the physician's order for physical therapy services. The Physical Therapist should provide all necessary aspects of physical therapy in order to facilitate the return of the patient to as independent and safe lifestyle as possible. The Physical Therapist must utilize a growth and development knowledge base in the care of children (pediatric), adolescent, and geriatric patients Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served; also demonstrates knowledge of the principles of growth and development and possesses the ability to assess data reflective of the patient's status and interprets the appropriate information needed to identify each patient's requirements relative to his/her age specific needs, and to provide the care needed as described in the department's policies and procedures.

Psychologist-

Provides a variety of psychological services in an outpatient, inpatient and residential setting.  Functions as an integral member of a multi-disciplinary treatment team.  Demonstrates knowledge and skills to appropriately communicate and interact with the patients, families and visitors of all age groups while being sensitive to their cultural and religious beliefs.  Demonstrates through education and training a recognized specialty in the field of Psychology.  This specialization may include:  Child Psychology, Behavorial Medicine/Pain Management, Addiction Treatment, Medical Psychology, Forensic, and/or Neuropsychology.  Demonstrates knowledge and skills to conduct psychological assessments within a recognized speciality area, using the standard assessment tools for that specialty area.  Demonstrates the ability to complete assessments in a timely manner using hospital computers and dictation equipment.  Demonstrates knowledge and skills to provide therapy as indicated for that given specialty area.
