About Insurance Operations
Located at 125 South 28th Avenue, Suite 244, Insurance Operations is open Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m.
Insurance Operations assists hospital employees, area employers and their employees, seniors and others in the community by providing the following services:
Managed Care
Forrest General Hospital participates in various PPO Networks, works directly with area employers and contracts with several group health insurance companies. Insurance Operations staff will be happy to answer any questions you may have about Managed Care. Medicare Information
Continuing education and information related to the Medicare Program is available to the community, hospital personnel and the provider community. Call 601-288-8120 for more information.
Medicare Supplemental Insurance and Other Insurance Products
Care Management Organization, a partnership between Forrest General Hospital and Hattiesburg Clinic, offers Medicare supplemental plans, Medicare Advantage Plans, individual health plans and prescription drug plans.
