Forrest General Cancer Center ranks among the largest and most sophisticated regional cancer centers in South Mississippi. The 34,000-square-foot Cancer Center, built in 1999, offers a comprehensive program encompassing continuing care, detection, diagnosis, education, prevention, psychosocial support, screening and treatment for cancer patients.
The individual patient and their family remain the focus of the Cancer Center's treatment program. State-of-the-art treatments and support services are delivered in comfortable surroundings utilizing an interdisciplinary approach that involves the individual, family, friends and health care professionals.
