Position Summary - The Associate RN performs under the direct supervision of the Patient Care Coordinator and is delegated an assignment by the coordinator to achieve quality patient care. The Associate RN shall implement the nursing process in an organized, systematic manner to include assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation in collaboration with the Patient Care Coordinator as evidenced by documentation in Patient Care Record, direct observation by Nurse Manager and patient evaluations of care. The Associate RN is responsible to the Patient Care Coordinator for patient care and ultimately accountable to the Nurse Manager.
QUALIFICATIONS – Current Mississippi RN license required

(0301) REGISTERED NURSE: (FULL-TIME & PART-TIME) PINE GROVE CHEMICAL DEPENDENCY
Position Summary - The Staff Nurse is a registered nurse whose primary responsibilities are centered toward the delivery of nursing care. This may include the management of a specific unit during an eight-hour shift in a charge nurse capacity. It also includes the delivery of direct patient care. BSN or ADN degree required. Must have successfully completed at least 825 clinical practice hours for B.S. program and at least 750 clinical practice hours for A.D. program. These hours are exclusive of laboratory hours.
QUALIFICATIONS – . BSN or ADN degree required. Must have successfully completed at least 825 clinical practice hours for B.S. program and at least 750 clinical practice hours for A.D. program. These hours are exclusive of laboratory hours. One year of prior medical/surgical nursing preferred.

(0311) LPN: (FULL-TIME) OUTPATIENT CLINIC
Position Summary - The Clinical Nurse is delegated an assignment to achieve quality patient care. The Clinical Nurse shall assist the implementation of the nursing process by providing direct patient care as evidenced, but not limited to, patient care documentation, direct observation, and patient evaluations.
QUALIFICATIONS - Graduate of a recognized LPN program; Must hold a current license to practice nursing in state of Mississippi, be certified in the expanded role of an LPN or be eligible for certification. ACLS certification required.

(0303) PATIENT CARE COORDINATOR: (FULL-TIME) 3T – ORTHO & TELEMETRY OBSERVATION
Position Summary - The Patient Care Coordinator is accountable and responsible for managing the clinical care of course of treatment of a number of patients. Coordination of care is accomplished through collaboration with physicians, associate staff, and other health care providers to ensure that patient outcomes are achieved within the projected course of treatment using the nursing process.

Position Summary - The Instructor is responsible for program planning and development of educational activities related to general, department and unit orientation, in-service and continuing education, job training and management development in assigned areas of responsibility.

(0311) NURSE PRACTITIONER: (FULL-TIME) SOUTH MS PSYCH
Position Summary - Provides general psychiatric care and treatment to patients in the clinic and/or inpatient facility in collaboration/consultation with a psychiatrist currently holding an unrestricted license in Mississippi. In accordance with their Board of Nursing approved protocol, the psychiatric nurse practitioner will assess, diagnose, and treat a variety of mental illnesses. Additionally, the psychiatric nurse practitioner will provide core education and counseling to promote mental health.
QUALIFICATIONS – Graduate of a recognized RN program. Must hold a current license to practice professional nursing in state of Mississippi as a Mental Health Nurse Practitioner

(0311) NURSE PRACTITIONER: (FULL-TIME) NEONATOLOGY SERVICES
Position Summary - The NNP manages a caseload of patients in the Neonatal Intensive Care Nurseries with consultation, collaboration, and general supervision from a neonatologist. Exercises independent judgments in assessment, diagnosis, and initiation of certain delegated medical processes and procedures. The NNP implements the additional roles of advanced practice including researcher, administrator, consultant, and educator to benefit and improve the profession, client and community. Must be accepted for and maintain professional liability coverage.
QUALIFICATIONS - Accredited Master's Degree Nursing program designed to prepare Neonatal Nurse Practitioners to provide acute care services. Current license - Mississippi State Neonatal Nurse Practitioner License; Neonatal Nurse Practitioner Certification through National Certification Corporation for the Obstetric, Gynecologic, and Neonatal Specialties. ALLIED HEALTH POSITIONS:
(0217) RESPIRATORY THERAPIST: (FULL-TIME) RESPIRATORY THERAPY
Position Summary – Performs, monitors, and evaluates procedures as ordered by the physician for both general and acute care of all age patients and various diagnoses. Perform specific tasks as designated by supervisor with the ability to complete most tasks independently. Disassembles, cleans, disinfects, sterilizes, and assembles all types of respiratory equipment.
QUALIFICATIONS – High School diploma/GED. Graduate of an accredited respiratory therapy program required. Certified by NBRC and licensed by MS State Board of Health.

(0243) PHYSICAL THERAPIST: (FULL-TIME) REHAB SERVICES (PART-TIME) REHAB THERAPY -OP
Position Summary – Responsible for the implementation of the physician’s order for physical therapy services. The Physical Therapist should provide all necessary aspects of physical therapy in order to facilitate the return of the patient to as independent and safe lifestyle as possible.
QUALIFICATIONS – Graduate of an approved physical therapy program. May be a recent graduate. Hold a valid permanent or temporary license as a physical therapist.

(0235) ECHOCARDIOGRAPHER – (FULL-TIME) CATH LAB
Position Summary - Under the supervision of the Director of the Cath Lab and in accordance
with approved policy schedules and performs and calculates 2D/M-Mode and color flow
doppler echocardiograms and assist in other non-invasive areas when necessary.
QUALIFICATIONS - High school diploma or equivalent. 2D/M-Mode and color doppler required. ARDMS Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS), Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS).

Position Summary - Fulfills professional responsibility in dispensing, procurement, control, and
consultation involved with medication. Knowledgeable and capable of performing any
pharmaceutical duty in the hospital pharmacy department and throughout the hospital. The
Pharmacist must utilize a growth and development knowledge base in medication for children
(pediatric), adolescent, and geriatric patients.
QUALIFICATIONS - Graduate of an accredited school of pharmacy. Must be licensed to practice
pharmacy in the state of Mississippi by the Mississippi State Board of Pharmacy.

(0273) EXERCISE PHYSIOLOGIST – (FULL-TIME)
Position Summary - The Exercise Physiologist will be accountable to the Intervent Coordinator. Exercise physiologist will participate with multi-disciplinary team to assist outpatients with lifestyle management and fitness programs. Duties include: evaluation, education and supervision of exercise for outpatients in program and maintaining records on patient progress. Exercise physiologist will make exercise prescriptions and conduct individual and group mentoring sessions with patients on topics of exercise, nutrition, stress management and disease prevention/management.
QUALIFICATIONS - Bachelor’s Degree or higher in exercise physiology or exercise science from an accredited institution; Experience with clinical exercise testing; Certification eligible for the Exercise Specialist Certification of the American College of Sports Medicine. Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support Training (ACLS).

PROFESSIONAL/ADMINISTRATIVE POSITIONS:
(0171) ASSISTANT DIRECTOR: (FULL-TIME) HEALTH INFORMATION MANAGEMENT
Position Summary – Directs all departmental functions related to the Hospital’s Health Information Management Department to include Cancer Registry, Transcription, and Release of Information, Document Imaging, Discharge Analysis, and Record Completion. Manages the day-to-day operations of the Coding Department. Performs monthly audits of inpatient and outpatient records for compliance to established coding practices to assure that diagnoses and procedures assigned reflect the documentation performed on the patient record. Responsible for development and presentation of staff education designed to address coding and compliance issues. Serves on the Corporate Compliance Committee. Provides Support and development opportunities for HIM personnel. Assists with special projects and data gathering. Supports the Hospital’s quality improvement program.
QUALIFICATIONS - Bachelor of Science Degree in Registered Record Administration from an accredited university is preferred. . Three or more years experience in Health Information Management is desirable. Prefer a working knowledge of medical records systems and experience with various computer software environments including Microsoft Office, SoftMed applications, flow-charting, and other data analysis skills. Certification as a Registered Record Administrator in the state of Mississippi preferred. CPC-H or CCS Certified preferred.

Position Summary - Ensure prompt and efficient handling of insurance claims and related documents in order to receive payment in a timely manner. This is accomplished by following up with insurance companies (government and non-government) as well as identifying and resolving problems.
QUALIFICATIONS-High School diploma/GED required. Insurance follow-up or billing experience in hospital setting or physician office is preferred. Experience operating personal computer and calculator accurately is required.

Schedules and coordinates all new employee processing. Performs a variety of recruitment and clerical functions as assigned by the Employment Manager. QUALIFICATIONS - High school diploma or equivalent required. Higher education preferred.
Typing speed of 35 wpm net required. Computer literacy required. Prior receptionist experience

Position Summary - Performs under the direct supervision of the coordinator on a nursing unit and are delegated assignments by the RN to achieve quality patient care. He/she is involved in the implementation phase of the nursing process.
QUALIFICATIONS- High School diploma/GED required. Successful completion of a Nurse Aide training class or 6 months experience as a Nurse Aide with passage of Nurse Aide skills test required.

(0503) REHAB TECH: (PART-TIME) REHAB THERAPY OP & REHABILITATION SERVICES
Position Summary - The Rehabilitation Technician job consists of transporting and transferring patients to and from the physical therapy department by use of wheelchairs, stretchers and tilt tables. The Rehab Tech assists in preparing the patients for treatment which can involve lifting patients from wheelchairs and stretchers to whirlpools and treatment areas. The Rehab Tech will assist the physical therapist in treatment procedures as required by the physical therapist. The job may also require assisting with maintaining the patient treatment schedule and the therapist’s treatment schedule and other record keeping as required by the department manager. The Rehab Tech will also assist with maintaining a clean and orderly department as well as maintaining all equipment in the department.
QUALIFICATIONS – High School diploma/GED required. Previous work experience preferred.
