In collaboration with the physicians and staff of Hattiesburg Clinic and Southern Bone and Joint, Forrest General's orthopedic program serves a 17-county area with the best possible care for a multitude of orthopedic needs. Collaboration between Forrest General's trauma, surgery and emergency services provides high quality care for any traumatic orthopedic injury.

Forrest General also provides cutting-edge technology and care for those choosing to undergo orthopedic surgeries such as total hip and knee replacements. Computer-assisted navigation technology, knee balancing instrumentation and other advanced technologies are available for many of these procedures. For knee and hip replacement patients, Forrest General offers Joint Camp, which is a best-practice driven treatment regimen for elective total hips and knees.

Orthopedic physicians also perform hand and upper-extremity procedures, including microvascular repair, spine procedures, arthroscopy and sports medicine, foot and ankle procedures, specialized treatment of mal-unions and non-unions and revascularization procedures.
